Styling 3 Different Tables with the Same Linens saved time, money, and provided inspiration for future tablescapes. Table One was classic Valentines with a pink/red and white plaque placed in front of a mercury glass vase filled with pink flowers. Table Two leaned more toward contemporary with the use of tealight stands with lampshades. This is the third and final table of the series. By swapping out the darker colors and exposing the white base cloth, the table took on a softer more ethereal feel.
Styling 3 Different Tables with the Same Linens – Table Three
As much as I love my rose motif overlay, I felt it was time to let the base cloth show. By peeling back the overlay the table automatically brightened. The fabric remnant is rather large and had to be folded several times length and width to use as a runner.
For the focal point of the centerpiece, I used a white candelabra with tapers. It’s was a grungy thrift store find that needed a new paint job to bring it back to life. The bling tray it sits on is also thrifted and was an easy DIY. Granted, applying the rhinestones was tedious, but worth it.
Two milk glass vases with Baby’s Breath flank the candelabra. Imagine my surprise when I asked the florist for a bunch of baby’s breath and was quoted a price of $25.00. You gotta be kidding me! I bought 3 full stems at $3.50 each and was good to go. Next time I’ll try Sam’s Club or my grocery store.
Silver bling taper holders were added for more sparkle and finish the centerpiece.
To add more softness and light I used white chargers instead of the deep pink ones. The dinner plates are the same and I swapped a white appetizer plate for the rose one. The soft pink napkin is wrapped around the round white plate.
Added to the etched tumbler and goblet are pink stemmed goblets.
Using the same linens to style three different tables was a refresher course for me. I’ve been lucky to find so many nice tabletop items on clearance or at thrift stores. Even at bargain prices, it’s still a good idea to do as much as you can with what you already have. Thank you so much for coming back to see each table and I hope they’ve given you an idea or two for your own tables.
