As promised, here are some pics of the desserts that Samara sent for our anniversary. She is sweetening up Dallas one mini cheesecake and red velvet truffle at a time. Samara’s desserts have graced the tables of some of Dallas’ finest restaurants and her client list is constantly growing.
Naturally I’m going to give her a glowing review, I’m her mom. However, this isn’t just a proud mom raving about her daughter, her desserts are fabulous. As tickled as I am about her success, I’m also thrilled that she was bitten by the baking bug. We often dream of the baking adventures we’d have if she lived closer. But alas, now is not the time.
She treated us with 4” mini cheesecakes. 2 each of the following: Turtle, Chocolate Crème de Menthe and Banana Split.
Oh my word the Banana Split tastes like the real thing! Samara shipped them to us and Charisse put the finishing touches on. When we came home from dinner the Banana Split Cheesecake had been adorned with sliced bananas, whipped cream and a cherry on top.
The Chocolate Cheesecake was topped with chocolate ganache and sprinkled with Andes Mini Mints. Pardon me while I wipe away the drool as I tell you about the Turtle Cheesecake. As if the cheesecake itself weren’t decadent enough, it was drizzled with fudge and caramel sauce and laced with chopped pecans.
Surprisingly, we only devoured three of them and the other three are waiting to be a part of our July 4th celebration. Thank you again baby girl for always thinking of us and for your generosity. Love you in Bunches!!
