Right now I’m nursing a very painful and annoying case of plantar fasciitis. It’s been an on again off again pain in the hiney for years. Given my job as a fitness professional, being sidelined with it presents a major problem. However, due to the fact that school is out right now that’s OK. However, due to the fact that Christmas is in two days, all the kids will be home today, and I have so much left to do, this is a problem.
Resting so my inflamed heel can heal is the best remedy, but who can rest when there are presents to be wrapped, and three days worth of meals to feed a large hungry brood to be prepared? Without a doubt, my family will sit me down, keep me supplied with Chardonnay and do what needs to be done. They could care less if their rooms don’t pass the white glove test or if the cookies and packages aren’t Martha Stewart quality. We’ll all be together, it will be noisy, we’ll indulge way more than we should and my heel will heal.
I’m in mommy overdrive and have to do what I can to get this party started. By the time I get back to blogging in a couple of weeks my buzz may be a single digit, and my inbox will be jammed packed. Thank you friends for hanging out with me this year. I appreciate your support, the kind words you’ve shared with me and getting to know and be inspired by you.
The Sweet Sensations Family wishes you a Merry Christmas and a New Year filled with love, peace and prosperity!
