When I found out that Sandra @SEC had tagged me I thought it would be something along the line of things you don’t know about me. Not so, I’ve been tagged to come up with an Easter Menu complete with beverage, appetizer, entrée and dessert. Hmm, I have a baking blog how on earth am I going to pull that one off?
I’ve always said that in my ideal world you could eat dessert as often as you want, be perfectly healthy and never gain weight. Guess it’s time to take a deter to my alternate universe where this actually happens. Guess it may also be time to expand my horizons and maybe have a savory site or get be a bit more creative with the sweet stuff. So foodie friends make a dental appointment, get a cholesterol screening and let’s have the Sweetest Easter ever!!
I took the French Vanilla Ice Cream out ahead of time and it’s soft and creamy enough to be sipped through a straw. There’s our beverage.
Let’s keep things going with Pop Pop School Cake pops. No need to worry about ruining your appetite with dessert.
As we ease our way into the Sweet Feast I thought the Frangipane Peach Tart should come next. After all there are two fruits here. Ha!
What’s a dessert extravaganza without a pound cake? Blueberry Cream Cheese Pound Cake in the house!!!
And there’s no way you can chow down on massive amounts of sugar and butter without having something chocolate. I give you Devilish Devils Food Cake.
What have we here, something savory. The meal ends with Spinach and Artichoke Pie with Tyson Chicken Strips.
Now everybody drop and give me 20 or 30. Happy Easter!!!!
Since we’re making the round I’m tagging the bloggers listed below to assemble their Easter menu from previous posts that include beverage, appetizer, entree and dessert. Have fun ladies!
