With a short list of supplies you could have this Easter Bunny Centerpiece with Pebble Charger.
For some reason Easter is not a holiday that I go all out for when it comes to home décor. Especially when it comes to tablescapes and crafts. Despite it being a major holiday, I have very few Easter decorations and honestly I don’t know why. In an effort to remedy that I’m starting small with this Easter Bunny Centerpiece. I am not one for projects that require lots of measuring or heaven forbid breaking out a power tool. Nothing wrong with those, I’m just not ready.
That being said, give me a hot glue gun and I’m all in. This craft is a bit tedious but very simple. A couple of hot glue burns and 90 minutes later I was done. Here’s what you’ll need.
- Easter Bunny
- Bag of pebbles
- Charger, tray or plate
- Decorative eggs
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Gluing the pebbles onto the charger was almost like putting together a jigsaw puzzle. I started out trying to mesh similar shape pebbles together. That didn’t last long, perfection wasn’t my goal. I did break up the colors so it wouldn’t look like a color block of pebbles.
Once the pebbles were glued on I added moss to the center of the charger. From there the bunny was placed in the center. I did have to push aside some of the moss from the center so the bunny would have a flat surface to stand on.
The next step was to snip the decorative eggs from their stems and place them in and around the moss. There you have it. Quick, easy and painless. Well aside from the hot glue burns. Now I may not go all out with the crafty stuff but boy do I have some desserts in store. Stay tuned!!
Mr. Bunny is traveling to a few parties this week and I hope he is well received.
