As I was putting the finishing touches on my Italian meal I realized that the fancy smancy dessert I wanted to put together wasn’t going to happen. Here’s where I began to channel the other Sandra Lee. In the interest of time and torn tendons I opted for ice cream plucked from my grocers freezer. They had individual servings of Haagen Daz in strawberry and Dulce de Leche and they were both fantastic and no other adornment or garnish was necessary.
A glass of sweet vermouth was the ending to a delightful meal and a pleasantly tiring day. Now I have to plan a birthday cake for Gabbi and get my meal plan together for her celebration weekend.
Oh, one more thing. I was graciously nominated for a One Lovely Blog Award by Ramona @Curry and Comfort, and I’m very honored. Thank you so much Ramona for thinking of me. This award comes with a few stipulations:
1. Link back to the person who nominated you.
2. Write 11 random facts about yourself.
3. Nominate 11 other bloggers
