Anna @ Crunchy Creamy Sweet hosted a Valentine’s Day Celebration event and it was wonderful.
Thank goodness drooling is calorie free, but sadly, it doesn’t burn calories either. On day two I spied her Chocolate Ganache Heart Cake and knew that mere drooling wouldn’t do. This cake had to be my Valentine, well at least one of them.
I was already on a roll making cupcakes so I decided to keep the party going and make cupcakes from her recipe. I baked them in my square cupcake pan and gave them a generous coating of chocolate ganache that I had on hand. What? You mean I’m the only person who has chocolate ganache on hand?
Part of me (Sabrina) wanted to add shaved white chocolate and some caramel nibs to top them off. The voice of reason and restraint decided a few pink and white frosting dots would do. These little gems were so good that they didn’t need anything else and I was perfectly satisfied with them. Small treats like this can fit into any holiday or special occasion dessert table. A simple change in the garnish to fit the theme makes them super versatile. I didn’t change a thing so I’ll share the link and you can head over to Crunchy Creamy Sweet for the recipe. Thanks so much Anna for the weight gain er, beautiful treat!
