The majority of our family birthdays are in the winter. This means that we’re on a sugar high from December through March. Lucky us huh?
Please take a look (and a drool) at these super delicious treats that our daughter sent for me and the Mr.’s birthdays. Thank you Samara, smooches!!!
Peanut Butter Cake Truffles for me

Red Velvet Cake Truffles for Mr. Sweet Sensations

I’ll be sharing the dessert that I made for Mr. Sweet’s special day real soon. You’re going to love it!!!
About Sandra
I am the proud owner of the largest sweet tooth in the world. This means that my other passion, fitness, serves me very well. As contradictory as this seems, I’m a certified fitness professional. It’s great to be able to show my clients how to have their cake and eat it too. Life is truly too short not to have dessert. As long as you have the best natural ingredients and enjoy them in moderation it’s OK.
For the last twenty-five years I’ve been a cake decorator. Try as I might I can’t get it out of my blood, so I’ve decided to stop fighting it and go with the flow. Who say’s you can’t have it all?
Oh these look dee-lish! I love them both, but would really love to sink my teeth into a peanut butter cake truffle right now. I guess it’s that salty sweet combo that I crave! I’m dying to find out about the special dessert you made for Mr. Sweet! : )
The Mr.’s dessert is coming up real soon. Hope you like it.
I bet you could make these, Sandy!! I don’t think there are many sweets that you cannot make. But I know how it is to enjoy something delicious that you didn’t make!! And I also know that you enjoyed the peanut butter ones!!
I’m slowly getting used to truffles. For something so small they can be a real challenge. These are Samara’s forte and she rocks them everytime.
I would pop too many of these little beauties in my mouth. The look gorgeously good.
Woo-hoo Ramona, I found your comment! Thank you for hanging in there and sending me emails.
All I can say is OOOOOOOOOOO, MYyyy!
Delectable. X
I’m mustering all the discipline I can to only have one a day. Just what the doctor ordered.
I would love a box of those peanut butter cake truffles. I’m afraid they wouldn’t last long though! What a great kid…
She is a sweetie pie and I’m so happy that both my girls were bitten by the baking bug.
That’s a whole lotta sweets there, sister. Are we going to have to come peel you guys off the ceiling??!?!??!
She did a great job!
I don’t want to aggravate your shoulder. We’ll hang out on the ceiling a while longer!
Amazing looking Sandra, I don’t suppose there are any leftover ?????? Not hinting or anything ………:)
Surprisingly there are, go figure!
What magnificent truffles!! Lucky you!
Luckily we still have some left.
I love truffles, in fact I just made some yesterday as an early Valentine’s day for hubby. Love both of your versions.
Thanks for sharing and thanks for your sweet words left on my guest post on Laura’s blog
THANK YOU, I let myself drool.
Red Velvet Cake Truffles are irresistible!
